On the eve of Veteran’s Day…

As I sit here on the eve of Veteran’s Day this year, I find myself reflecting on our own personal journey as a military family. Both of our sons, one currently deployed, and our daughter-in-law are active-duty military. This has allowed us to gain an understanding of sacrifice some have not had the privilege to experience. A sacrifice that leads us to gratitude. I find it fitting that Veteran’s Day falls so close to Thanksgiving…almost as if it were preparing our hearts. On this Veteran’s Day, I am truly thankful for our veterans and their families and what they have sacrificed for our freedoms. We are forever grateful.
